BoulderCentre for Orthopedics and Spine welcomes new surgeons, offers options in care

It may be the most repetitive understatement to say, these are unusual times. No matter what uncertainties we continue to endure, however, we can offer ourselves comfort, growth, and health by maintaining a key mindset: keep moving. Our bodies are meant to be in motion, whether sheltering in place, navigating evolving routines, or reaching new peaks. Lucky for us, no obstacle is insurmountable when it comes to achieving active lifestyles, with expert support from BoulderCentre for Orthopedics and Spine.

Named the region’s most preferred orthopedic practice, BoulderCentre for Orthopedics and Spine has been serving the needs of Boulder County and the entire Front Range since 1968. Throughout the decades, the BoulderCentre for Orthopedics and Spine practice has continuously evolved to incorporate the highest level of service, from cutting edge equipment and technology to world-class surgeons offering unparalleled expertise in their specialties. The Boulder building contains state-of-the-art MRI imaging and an ambulatory surgery center, Boulder Surgery Center, allowing for superior patient care housed under one roof. Comprehensive orthopedic services are similarly offered at the satellite locations in Lafayette. What’s more, new means of care have been developed throughout this year to best prioritize patient health.

“We are taking every precaution we can through this pandemic,” says Cathy Higgins, BoulderCentre for Orthopedics and Spine CEO. “We’ve made changes such as our virtual waiting room, whereby patients remain in their cars for their appointments and then are screened with temperature checks and ask Covid-relevant questions. All of our staff are masked and exam rooms are thoroughly cleaned between each patient.” BoulderCentre for Orthopedics and Spine offers extensive telehealth options, Higgins says, ensuring that patients who do not need to be seen in person have accessible means of communicating and maintaining care. Further, those who do need to schedule in-person visits, such as for x-rays, can plan for minimal time on site.

Recently, BoulderCentre for Orthopedics and Spine welcomed three new surgeons to its top-tier team. Each brings unique skills and experiences to their areas of specialty, and all BoulderCentre surgeons are equally dedicated to examining your needs and goals with compassion and expertise. Whether you’re dealing with acute injury or chronic conditions, be assured you will be treated by not just an expert, but the very best. Read on to meet the latest additions to the team.
