The research by the Endocrine Society was conducted by the Joslin Diabetes Center in Boston, USA, wherein, they observed a group of 51 people with prediabetes for 12 weeks and it was established that consuming this common spice-cinnamon had no side effects rather showed positive results in managing the sugar level in the body.
It was further observed that adding this spice can help in slowing down the development of Type 2 diabetes. The study was published in the Journal of the Endocrine Society.
Apart from that, managing the insulin level in the body, this spice can also help in treating other common ailments and improve overall health and has no side effects.
